Put back the preservatives Thursday, March 30, 2006 By TIM NORRISHERALD NEWS Some of us are slouching toward 60 (the whole Baby Boom, for instance), and some of us won't take it lying on our denims.

We are sticking out our flabulated chins, sucking in our protuberant guts, putting up our desiccated dukes, looking to fight back.

How?

Nothing drastic.

No Botox or surgically applied Brad Pitt.

No padded or injection-molded glutes or pecs.

No strenuous exercise or dietary regimen, although a personal trainer (volunteers only, no fee, females welcome) might be a boost.

Time and tide wait for no one?

Fine, I'm turning where most of us seem to be turning for solutions these days: technology.

Wrinkle-resistant fabrics?

Tell me how to be one.
