Eyes Right Opticians on Market Street, Droylsden has been offering the treatment for two years and has around 30 regular customers.

The quick-fix for looking younger is so speedy that people can have it done in their lunch hour.

Doctor Ajay Kumar Jain, a dentist who does Botox injections at his practice in Altrincham, carries out the treatments at his cousin’s opticians.

Dr Jain, 35, said: "I spent five years learning about the head and neck at dentistry school, so there isn’t much I don’t know about the nerves and muscles and the structure of the face.

I enjoy it because it’s different from what I do on a day-to-day basis.

"If you watch most of the makeover programmes, they invariably involve Botox and a lot of celebrities use it now.
